About Chem Sur
Chem Sur was founded in 2008 by Jakob Berkhout; at the time, the company operated under the name Chem Con. Since the start, Jakob Berkhout – who, as a chemistry expert, had for decades beforehand been active worldwide for various companies as senior surveyor & filtration specialist – has oriented the activities of Chem Sur towards the specialisations of filtration, laboratories & supercargo. The company mainly operates in the oil, gas and chemical industries.
Hellevoetsluis as a base, but active worldwide
From its base in Hellevoetsluis, Chem Sur works worldwide on very diverse projects. Despite the fact that the focus of our activities lies in the Netherlands, our dynamic team – consisting of four people – provides training courses in the use of filtration equipment worldwide. Besides that, we are called in for diverse filtration challenges and laboratory tests and we also act as supercargo or surveyor, usually during the loading and unloading of large, valuable loads of oil, gas and chemical products.
