Chem Sur as Supercargo or Surveyor

If your valuable load is transported by ship, for instance, it is of great importance that this load does not alter during transportation – either qualitatively or quantitatively. In order to ensure this, you can call in Chem Sur. We will supervise your load – whether it is oil, gas, chemicals or bulk cargo – when it is being loaded or unloaded from a land-based tank; we are your eyes and ears on board. We observe, report and intervene where necessary.

We ensure that your load complies with the set specifications

If you call in Chem Sur to act as Supercargo or Surveyor, we shall at all times try to prevent damage and/or changes to your load by observing and reporting. Thus, Chem Sur will attend to inspection, to sampling and to the determination of quality and quantity. Also, we ensure that the quality is checked against the specifications that you have stated. If the values and specifications are correct, then the ship, with the load, can depart for its destination. If not, then the values are studied in greater detail and we examine how it will be possible to still bring the load back to a state in which it complies with the specifications and conditions; for example, by blending it with another load or by selecting a different tank.
